Here at the Community Company, we’ve always got something on the go! Whether that’s a big, multi-million pound build, or a small community engagement project, developing projects that make a real tangible difference for our community is something we love! Community input is at the heart of all our projects, so we make sure that all projects are steered by the community and that people have the opportunity to get involved, every step of the way.
Many of our projects have come about as a result of the Community Action Plan completed in 2018, and reviewed in 2022 or are a result of collaborations with other organisations. Others are developed as a result of suggestions made by members of the community, so if you have an idea, let us know!
Glentarff House
We are applying for a Community Asset Transfer from Scottish Canals. If successful we’ll create two more affordable homes. We should hear one way or another by 16th May.
Memorial Hall
We are applying for a Community Asset Transfer from Highland Council. If successful we’ll have a new community office and meeting space in the centre of the Village.
Convent Land Development
The Community Company now owns the Old Convent Land. Through one of our funders, FERN, we have employed a Development Officer to sustainably develop the area to create a space beneficial to all.
