When the old medical centre was destroyed by fire in October 2015, the community lost a valuable asset. With true resilience however, the community soon bounced back and in 2016 the Community Company received overwhelming support from the local community to take forward the build and ownership of the new medical centre. We completed the new Cill Chuimein Medical Centre in April 2019, and it is now leased to the NHS, serving the communities of Fort Augustus, Glenmoriston, Glengarry, and the surrounding area. The Sunflower Home Care workers are also based in the medical centre.
