Grants

We’ve been supporting local groups, projects and students for over 14 years through our very successful grant programme. We offer three different kinds of grants, supporting an array of projects and individuals, all of which benefit or further the development of the local communities.

Groups

We offer two types of grant for organisations that are constituted. The main grant programme is up to £25k, the form and guidelines can be downloaded below. The company Directors assess these grants at their regular meetings. The second grant we offer organisations is our large grant application for over £25k. This amount would need prior approval from our funders before we could progress. If you wish to apply for a grant over £25k please contact us in the first instance.

Individual for Community Benefit

An individual can apply for a grant up to £1000 if it is for Community Use. An example of this type of grant would be – a group of people who wished to do flower planting around the village, but were not a constituted group could apply this way for plants without having to form an organisation.

An individual can apply for a bursary of £600 to help with travel, books and equipment whilst at college, university or as an apprentice (except where supported through FAGCC apprenticeship scheme or similar) THIS IS NOT MEANS TESTED.

There is a limit of four applications per student, one per year of study.

“This project has been a really positive thing for staff and residents. The residents have been involved… and the outcome is fresh, vibrant, bright and dementia friendly.”
