When the Community Company was first established back in 2007, our sole purpose was to distribute grants to local groups and individuals. This soon grew to include our apprenticeship scheme, the Community Caretakers, and managing the village hall, along with a whole host of exciting projects to benefit our communities!

Funding our Projects
We are very lucky to have the support of our fantastic funders! Our main funding comes from Glendoe Hydro , Stronelairg Windfarm & Blairaidh windfarm (SSE Renewables), and Millennium Windfarm (Falck Renewables).
For projects, however, we often try to secure match funding from other sources. This means that community funds are stretched further, and allows us to continue our other work simultaneously. We’d like to thank all our funders for their support over the years.
