Throughout the pandemic, we were proud to be a part of the 3 Glens Resilience Group and support its work in the local community. Working with Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston Community Council, Glengarry Trust and Glengarry Community Council, we provided a number of services.
At the beginning of lockdown in March 2020, we were happy to be able to provide financial support to all local families with young children. Following this we were able to assist the Resilience Group by securing funding to enable them to deliver services. This funding allowed the 3 Glens Resilience Group to offer a range of services, from meals on wheels, community larder boxes and a variety of grants to help those who had been most affected by the pandemic.
The whole Community Company team playing their part to support the amazing team of community volunteers, whether that be the Community Caretakers helping to collect and deliver community larder boxes and install sanitiser units, or providing administrative assistance with grants and newsletters from the office.

Business Support
During the pandemic, the Community Company also supported local businesses from Fort Augustus and Glenmoriston as well as Glengarry through the 3 Glens Working Together Business Group. Reopening businesses safely and successfully was a key focus for the group, who developed a reopening strategy to keep all our communities and visitors safe. All businesses in agreement with the charter displayed a copy of the group’s logo.
As part of the group’s work, the Community Company obtained independent funding for a number of things from sanitiser stations to banners. They also sourced hand sanitiser for businesses, as well as the sanitiser stations which were installed throughout the communities by our own Community Caretakers.
Local business volunteers helped design and source the logos, banners and stickers. All promoting the work of the business group in wanting to keep their community safe.

Thank You!
Throughout the pandemic, volunteers were the backbone of the 3 Glens Resilience Group, and without them, the group would not have been able to have done all that it did. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped throughout, whether that was by delivering meals, packing and distributing larder boxes, picking up shopping or prescriptions or being a befriender. Thank you everyone!
